The Dean of Advising & Co-Curricular Programs oversees academic advising and support, as well as the integration of academic and residential experiences for students. The Dean supervises associate deans and class deans, the staff of the Academic Resource Hub, and other academic student support specialists. The Dean coordinates health professions advising and pre-declared faculty advising. Among the programs in which the Dean plays a pivotal role are the Marquis Scholars, the McKelvy Scholars, Forensics, POSSE Scholars, First-Year Orientation, and Convocation and Commencement.

The Dean of Advising & Co-Curricular Programs serves ex officio on the Academic Progress and Student Conduct committees.

The Dean of Advising & Co-Curricular Programs reports to the Provost.
