The Associate Provost is responsible for review, planning, and recommendations regarding the College’s curricula, including the Common Course of Study and the College’s interim and summer course offerings. The Associate Provost supports curriculum development and faculty travel. The Associate Provost oversees the College Writing Program and the First Year Seminar and supports the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship, the Hanson Center for Inclusive STEM Education, the Landis Center for Community Engagement, the Office of International and Off-Campus Education, and the work of the Academic Project Coordinator. The Associate Provost has management and oversight of course enrollments, department and program course planning, and the periodic review of academic units. The Associate Provost manages the assessment processes in the academic division as well as across the College and is the Accreditation Liaison to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Associate Provost is responsible for the College’s Academic Calendar.

The Associate Provost serves ex officio on the Faculty’s Educational Policy Committee.

The Associate Provost reports to the Provost.
