As the director of the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning and Scholarship (CITLS), the Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning is responsible for working with instructors across all divisions and ranks to develop and administer programming, as well as provide services and resources in support of the teacher-scholar model. The Associate Dean supervises the Assistant Director of CITLS and the Administrative Coordinator of CITLS.

In addition to overseeing CITLS, the Associate Dean has responsibilities within the Provost’s Office managing the procedures around peer observations of teaching.

The Associate Dean serves on the Teaching and Learning Committee as an ex officio member, and reports to the Dean of the Faculty.
