The Associate Dean for Faculty Support and Director of CITLS is responsible for working with instructors across all divisions and ranks to develop and administer programming related to the teacher-scholar model, from internal support for scholarship through classroom teaching and the scholarship of teaching. As the Director of the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship, the Associate Dean develops and delivers programming on teaching and supervises the Associate Director of CITLS. The Associate Dean is also responsible for the promotion, management, and coordination of student and faculty research programs via the Academic Research Committee, as well as the College’s faculty conference travel program.

The Associate Dean and Director serves ex officio on the Academic Research and Teaching and Learning committees.

The Associate Dean and Director reports to the Dean of the Faculty.
