The Department of Physics at Lafayette College invites applications for an 18-month Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning in January 2027.

We are seeking candidates with a demonstrated enthusiasm for undergraduate teaching.  The successful candidate should be able to teach physics effectively in classroom and laboratory environments. Candidates will teach the equivalent of three courses per semester, with a laboratory section counting as half a course.  We especially welcome applicants who can contribute to Lafayette’s commitment to creating a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community.
