The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, (https://che.lafayette.edu/) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor, starting July 1, 2025. We are seeking candidates with expertise in Biofabrication (including, but not limited to, additive manufacturing, tissue engineering, and/or biomaterials), with demonstrated enthusiasm and experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduates and an ability to teach effectively at all levels of the curriculum. It is expected that the applicant will also be able to contribute to the College’s Integrative Engineering program’s focus area of bioengineering (https://inte.lafayette.edu/). Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering,  bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or closely related field. In addition to four discipline-specific B.S. engineering programs and an A.B. engineering studies program, Lafayette offers a B.S. interdisciplinary engineering program (Integrative Engineering) that enables students to develop expertise and skills in systems methods and apply those skills in areas of robotics, bioengineering, environment, and energy. The faculty in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering play a vital role in offering and maintaining this interdisciplinary program.
