The Theater Department of Lafayette College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Scenography, with expertise in at least two of the following: costume, scenery, light, media, and/or environmental design.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can, in addition to introductory and advanced courses in design, teach Introduction to Theater, Theater History and courses that fulfill the requirements of the Common Course of Study. The appointment will begin July 1, 2022. The teaching load is four courses in the first year and five courses per year thereafter with design of one major production expected in teaching responsibilities. MFA or Ph.D. by start date and teaching experience are required. We especially welcome applicants who will contribute to Lafayette College’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
